5 early Chapter Book Series We Love

5 Fantastic Early Reader Series My 7yo Actually Likes!

Finding the right books to help my reader grow confidence in his newish skill has been an interesting journey!  If you're on the hunt for early reader series that hit that sweet spot, here are 5 must-read favorites that kids (and sometimes grown-ups!) will adore.

1. Rabbit & Bear by Julian Gough & Jim Field

Perfect for fans of humor and unlikely friendships, Rabbit & Bear is a delightful illustrated chapter book series about two very different animals learning to get along. Rabbit is grumpy and skeptical, while Bear is calm and kind-hearted. Their adventures in the forest are filled with funny moments, clever lessons about kindness, and just a touch of mischief.
